Business Analyst

Intertech LLC is looking for a Business Analyst whose role will be vital in analyzing the business models in the Company and in using advanced analytics to provide data insights for business decisions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions;
- Study, review and analyze data, facts and figures;
- Gather, prepare, plan, document and model business requirements;
- Generate standard or custom reports or analyses summarizing business, operational or financial data for review by executives, managers and other stakeholders;
- Create, maintain or update business intelligence dashboards, systems or methods;
- Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies to improve performance;
- Develop and perform workflow analysis to find out the difficulties in reaching goals;
- Define reporting requirements;
- Review statistics, assessments and case studies and convert them into a usable data that serves the Company’s goals;
- Carry out database audits in line with database management principles;
- Analyze and document business processes, functions and needs;
- Report key insights and findings to Product Management team;
- Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve reporting, discover issues and deliver better service;
- Provide recommendations in terms of data collection, warehousing, management and retrieval procedures;
- Stay up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics or a related field;
- Proven experience in business and/ or data analytics;
- Exceptional mathematical, analytical and conceptual thinking skills;
- Ability to see the “big picture”, evaluate the business impact of issues and prioritize among many requests;
- Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions, and in data visualization techniques and tools;
- Basic knowledge of generating process documentation;
- Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions;
- Advanced technical skills;
- Experience in creating detailed reports and giving presentations;
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
- Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills;
- Experience in leading and developing top performing teams;
- Knowledge of strategic planning, business/ operation model analysis and process definition and design.
DESIRABLE:
- Proficiency in extracting and manipulating large datasets using SQL/ MicroStrategy (or similar);
- Practical experience with statistical tools (SPSS, SAS, R, KNIME, other);
- Experience in data mining/ advanced analytics (clustering, regression, predictive models or similar).
